My fellow homeschool moms and I go out once a month for Mom’s Night Out. In July, we decided to attend the annual weinfest at one of the local villages. It seems like every little town in the Rhine Valley has a weinfest (winefest) at some point in the year, so there are several to choose from each weekend.
The streets were lined with vine-covered buildings.
What better embellishments for a wine fest?
Pretzel door knob!
Cities on the river have a mast.
My lovely friends :)
A photo with me in it.
Spaghetti carbonara – yum!
The pizzas are SO different here!
When we finished dinner, the fest was really hopping!
I don’t drink, but I DO eat cotton candy.
More delicious treats.
They party late here in Germany.
The town chapel, looking down on us in the dark.
One of the candy stands had this picture painted on it – creepiest child ever!!
It was a lot of fun! I’m going to miss these amazing friends I’ve made when I finally have to leave Germany!
